I have just gone through another 1000 10p's looking for "Alphabet" letters. After about 875 , I found this one.
The obverse has extra metal around the letters etc. and then I saw the date , the 4 is practically missing from 2014. I thought " I'll keep this one " , then I turned it over and WOW!!!
all the extra metal on the bottom and running down the side of the Lion.
Best one I've got at the moment.

If I am not mistaken the area the "4" should be corresponds to where the metal is?

That is a keeper. The 4 missing is, I think a clogged die. But the back may be a broken die. Not sure though. Very nice

Found another one to keep , the obverse is feint on the words & date . The reverse has the value "TEN PENCE " missing (only slightly visibly).
