I can not see why some one would fake a 1/2 frank. It does have other issues, like machine doubling.

Me I think it is clogged die for the privy marks. But have never seen both privy marks gone. Something I have never seen before.
But it still does not look right to me.

It is not machine doubling, it is a 'recut' die.
Do not worry about the privy marks:
