Aye, I think your younger eyes might be correct Rick. It looks dipped more than scrubbed though so it's quite possibly salvageable. I'd have that little gem on a South facing window ledge, sitting on top of brown paper with gun oil around the edges. A few weeks of Florida sun and sea breezes would soon fix that.

​I could probably supply the brown paper but other criteria may be a bit more difficult in Australia. ;)
