The large J is the only one listed- look at 1971 notations at top of page and you will see what the small j variation looks like. That is what the picture I posted is of. But it is 1950 and that is not listed.

I already looked at it : your coin is a small "J", we both agree about that.
However, for me there is no big "J" reported for the year 1950. Small "J" seems to be the common type for 1950.
Nothing indicates that the "J" listed for the year 1950 is a big one on the numista page ; unless you have a picture of a 1950 big "J" to share, there is no need to add another line.
The 1971 notation shows 2 variations of J. The small variation has a line to the left. The same as the pic I posted. Except it is a 1950 50 Pfennig. Which ,to me, means the large J variation is the one shown for the 1950 50 Pfennig. If a small variation of the J existed for the 1950 wouldn't it be shown as it is for the 1971 50 Pfennig? If I'm wrong then I apologize. I am just trying to understand why you keep saying the small J is shown when if you look at 1971 that is not the case.
Do you mean just for the 50 Pfennig or all the denominations? Because there are small and large in other denominations of the Pfennig in various years before 1971. I got some from as far back as 1949.
Better yet, Forget I even asked and forget this whole scenario. Sorry I mentioned anything. My apologies to the entire community, the staff and whoever else may have been adversely affected.
