Hello again!
I have recently purchased this coin, which appears to have been struck under Abdülmecid I, perhaps Ottoman, similar to this one:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces24469.html
The difference is that mine is copper, not silver. 20.3mm, 1.25g
Any clues?

problem with the date - ١٢٥???
leads me to think it might be a decorative imitation coin from the period, possibly once silver or gold plated...

It seems to be 1255.
I thought it might be an imitation coin too, but it looks quite genuine to me.

Hello,
You have it right; it's a Yirmilik from the reign of Abdulmecid I, with his ascension date of AH 1255 and the regnal year 3, so 1841.
The reason your coin looks copper is because many of these Ottoman issues were minted in very low purity silver (billon), often .200 or lower.
