This server does not at all replace Numista and just intends to help members chit-chat about coins another way and also help them regarding swaps and trades through voice channels. The server and activities are not endorsed or backed by Numista.
When joining, you will first be sent into a verification channel and required to provide your personal code for validation. This code is available at bottom of your own settings page here on Numista and is visible by the discord server admins only.
Please have a look at the channel "rules" before chatting.

It is new for me as it is for you. I have seen your request, but I still do not know how to make you verified. From what I gathered, it is similar to forum, rather a chat of some sort.
One of very good features there is a possibility foe swap partners to have a call/voice chat.
Anyone could create such Numista server, but this one has official backing.

Yes, most of the time it's used by gamers, but in recent years many other communities have gone on Discord. I used to use it while playing Paradox grand strategy multiplayer too, to organise secret alliances.
