Does anyone have experience buying San Marino coins or stamps from the official shop? The reason I ask is that the guys are extremely slow! I've made an order 3 weeks ago but still, my order is 'in progress'. The same response I get when asking them on Facebook. Is it their normal modus operandi to process orders for weeks? Please share your experience.

Yes, things take a lot of time there.

Any idea why and how long does it usually take?

It is just a small organisation that has to handle a very large amount of orders from all over Europe (and beyond). It can take upto 2-3 months before you receive your order. The customer service is usually good though and they never made any mistakes in my orders. The products I received were always of high quality and the products are being sent out in proper packaging so I am positive about them. I have been a client with them for many years. I understand though that some will consider the long waiting time to be problematic.

PS: A lot of the products that are marked as 'sold out' on their webshop can without any problem still be ordered for the price of issuance if you send them an email. That has saved me quite a bit of money in the past.

Patience is certainly not my virtue. I'm used to receiving coins within one week. Ok, this time I'd have to wait. Hopefully the letter will arrive shortly.
