Coins value

Am I the only one that gets a little cheesed when you see posts asking for a coins value by someone who just got the coin from an estate etc. ? Do the homework people.
Chuching!
For me it is an identification request that would just need one word and the year from the coin they are asking about (here I mean easily readable coins). Put those in the search bar hit enter and scroll for a bit ... et voila.

With the request you are talking about the problem are more our members that jump and deliver everything on the spot thinking this is a newbie in dire need of for help ... strangely never to be seen again after a couple of further requests they got answered for free (yes, there are real new collectors that could come off like this type of new "member" but they are still discernable).

P.S.: something cheesed me on your profile too (8 you could change Duetschmark --> Deutsche Mark or German Mark
I completely understand not everyone is interested in coins and has no interest in spending hours researching something they don't care about. Not every coin can be identified with a quick google search, especially not the more valuable ones.
I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.

There I fixed it. Consider yourself de cheesed. Lol ?

I get your point, but I take these requests with a grain of salt.

I know some are absolutely intimidated by the hobby and don't know what's what.

They hear stories of million-dollars coins but don't even know what a mint mark is...

To them our knowledge is magic.

(But yeah, some people are just lazy.)
My personal favourite was the dude with dozens of gold coins!

Utter nonsense.
Hey remember,
coins are just metal discs to people not in the know. ;)
We all had to start somewhere, when I first saw a coin that wasn't a circle, it blew my mind.
