The above counts include duplicates. Classic A Bow Stem (Sills 587, Sills 588), Classic A Scroll Stem (ABC 2822), Classic A Arc Stem (Sills 590) and Classic A Crescent Triad (ABC 2825) are easily confused. Classic A Bow Stem and Classic A Arc Stem are usually attributed to ABC 2822.
Sills Classic A, Bow Stem (4 obverse, 4 reverse dies): North Thames Coinage; Type: Cunobelinus; Quarter Staters: Class 7a - Classic A, Bow Stem. Based on the Classic A Scroll Stem (ABC 2798), which is the equivalent stater and struck at the same time as the Classic A, Bow Stem and Classic A Scroll Stem (ABC 2822) quarters.
Sills DK 587: Neat obverse with short serifs on CAMV. Neat horse and pellet serifs on CVNO.
Sills DK 588: Carelessly engraved obverse with expanded serifs on CAMV. Crude horse and lettering on CVNO. Likely cut by the same engraver as the Plastic. There are mules with neat obverses and careless reverses (see CCI 10.2154).
