It is a contemporary counterfeit in copper of a Spanish 10 Escudos coin in gold from 1868. Differences with the base type:
- Obverse:
- “IS” in “ISABEL” touching bust,
- “A” in “2A.” larger,
- less spacing between “G.” and “DE” above head.
- Reverse:
- “S” in “10 ES.” larger,
- “REINA” has less character spacing,
- 🟌 larger.
The main example on the page has one hole made after minting.
