I too would like to know. It’s been requested many times that some kind of log be kept of these types of changes. At the very least, an announcent from anyone would be appeeciated.
No, I haven't added or subtracted anything lately. Something that was previously defined as a country is now defined as an issuer only. But it could take hours to go through everything and figure out what they changed.
Since I'm not tired, I went through the list and it looks like I lost Ancient China.
Makes me wonder what's going to happen to the British Virgin Islands, British Antarctic Territory, British Indian Ocean Territory and even British West Africa
You have to export your coins to Excel. Then you will notice that British West Indies is gone as a 'country'.
My coin is now under United Kingdom and as issuer it shows British West Indies...
Maybe as a test I will removed my British West Indies coin from my collection and see if only issuers go down one number, or both issuers and country...
Yep, same here! I thought I had found it by comparing Excel files, but I was wrong...
I have no idea how to find the missing country now. I really thought comparing my Excel file from last month against a new file from today would give me the missing country...
Besides Swaziland that became eSwatini there were also a lot of countries that were sorted differently than before. And then there was the BWI coin that was gone and had reappeared under UK... I was so sure, but apparently wrong...
Found a discussion where it's mentioned that users lost an issuer by moving Tatarstan to the tokens section. I have those!
However, my issuers remain unchanged at 325, it's that countries went down 1 to 241...
Solved it (finally). American Samoa has been moved under United States! When I removed my American Samoa coin from my collection the country count did not change, issuers went down one!
