"I can't even tell you what it means". Mate, I have made a perfect page for this banknote, so why didn't you start by checking it out? Check it out now, and I'll wait: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/note208257.html

Did you check it out? Nice right? :D So, you were close in your guess, I give you that. ;) (I'm just jesting with you, mate. You know I'm a fan. :))

When it comes to the serial number, the Burmese prefix letters are not equivalent to the Western form, but the Burmese letter has the same place in the alphabet as the Western. For instance, your prefix letters are ခ န. So first we have ခ, which are kha - the second letter in the alphabet, just like B. The other letter is န, which is na - the twentieth letter in the alphabet, just like T. The numbers are the same, though.

Anyhow, I am so glad to hear someone to pronounce the currency correctly: chat. :wiz:

If you have any questions about future fun notes, or need any help in funny langauges , please don't hesitate to contact me. I am alway enjoying your videos. :)
Thank you. I am ashamed that I had not even considered to check Numista as a resource... I am relieved that I used the correct pronounciation of kyat. Although, on my channel, I was corrected for mispronouncing it as chat, when it was obviously spelled kyat...

Oh well...

I have wondered if very many here like my videos...I know that some do, and I know that some do not. I appreciate your nice words.

You didn't think about to use Numista as source? :o Oh my, oh my... ;)

Well, it is translitterated as kyat, but that dosen't mean it's pronounced like that. Many words are pronounced difderently from how they're spelt even in English, take tough and though for example. Both ends in gh, but pronounced as f in tough and w, or maybe even silent, in though. The IPA for kyat is [tɕaʔ], so "chat" is close enough. :)

I watch you vids a littlr now and then and most of the times I really enjoy them. It was fun to watch you open the packages. :D
