gold plated victoria head coin

3 posts • viewed 90 times
I have a gold plated pendant with a victoria head coin as the centre.
What intrigues me is the measurement of the coin..+/- 18mm ( weight pendant 17g)
and the right shoulder that ends above the writing. I am obviously hoping that the coin is gold, but for the life of me I can not find a coin that matches the specs.
Anyone have any ideas?
Sorry to disappoint, but the coin is definitely fake. This is probably what it's a copy of:

The portrait on the coin looks way off, and there's no way it's real.

Hope this helps!

Though as much, otherwise it was extremely unique with the shoulder and size... think I should dismantle it to see what the back looks like... could be interesting
