Haven't seen such an impolite answer for quite a while. I kind of very naively thought that Numista is a place where less experienced collectors might get some friendly help from more knowledgeable people - sorry, my mistake. Now I know that there are some rude and arrogant people here, too.
Not to sorry about that you are over 3 months on Numista so not really a newbie in my eyes and I sadly see far to many questions that look like 'do the work for me' and you have done half the work yourself already. You should have just searched 'Egypt 25 piastres'.

As a small compassionate for your hurt fee fees:

Dear LP33,

Idolenz may have been direct. No rude or impolite.

I am sorry for you that you felt offended.
Nevertheless, Idolenz mentiionned a point that should interest you since you joined for progressing in our common passion.

I would ever encourage you to search by yourself before requesting help. So, start with reading the site policy, as well as all the Numisdoc section and you will progress and thus, being able yourself to support newcomers and provide them with the deep insight they will appreciate.

Than we have a very different understanding of what politeness is.
Doing your homework and searching by yourself with the tools provided to you (see below) is the first expression of politness, before asking to others to spend their time at your benefit.
This is what I call respect.

The special detail with the date on your note is that pre 2000 (I Think) the year is separated as the first and last digit in the serial number. Your nuber is 918120, so the year is 1990 then it's as usual; 18th December.

Thanks, this is what initially deceived me - the color of the banknote is as P#57 but the date format is like it was in earlier P#49 and P#54 both of which have a different color.
