Quote: "neilithicman"I’m no good in these, any clever people out there that can ID these ones?
I’m not very good at identifying older coins but I’ll have a go at identifying this one.
But I would need additional information please such as diameter, thickness, weight etc.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
I'll take a stab at the Romans. As far as I can tell they're both provincial, 3rd century. I can't make out anything on the reverse of the first coin while by rotating the reverse photo on the second coin I think I can see an eagle facing right, something commonly found on Egyptian provincial coins.
Size, weight and maybe some better, more detailed, photos would help with the identification.
I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.

Have to disagree. Reading the Numismatic questions and Coin identifications and valuations forums I learn many things everyday.

To determine the date, two things are important, the cycle (red circle bottom right) and the year (red circle top left):
For your coin, the cycle is 15, the year is 58:
To determine the western date:
For your coin the western date is: 15th cycle, year 58 = 15 - 1 X 60 + 58 + 1026 = 1924AD
