Bulgaria issued two 5000 leva notes in the 1990s, P#108 and P#111. According to Bank Note Museum, P#108 was issued in 1996 and P#111 in 1997. However, we have both dates listed for P#108 (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/note202241.html). Can anyone confirm the existence of the 1997 P#108? The difference is the presence (P#108) or absence (P#111) of a holographic strip at the left of the obverse.

Well, the 1996 issue has a holographicstrip at left obverse, which the 1997 issue lacks:
5,000 Leva 1996, P-108
5,000 Leva 1997, P-111

So are you saying that the 1997 date should be moved from P#108 to P#111? That certainly seems to be correct as I can't find any 1997 notes with the hologram.

Yes, 1997 does not have a hologram and should therfore be listed seperately, I reckon.
The 1997 is listed in two places, https://en.numista.com/catalogue/note202241.html and https://en.numista.com/catalogue/note244352.html. I'm suggesting the 1997 date in the first be moved to the second.

Me too. The first one is sole 1996, and the other one is sole 1997. No 1997 issue has a hologram, and no 1996 issue is without hologram.
Done. :)
