fake 75,000 Rupiah

I bought a 75,000 Rupiah from an eBay seller w/ a good reputation but now that I can examine the note closely, I notice it doesn't fluoresce like the Bank of Indonesia website says it should (https://www.bi.go.id/en/rupiah/gambar-uang/Detail-Uang-Khusus.aspx?Bahan=Kertas&ID=28) Specifically, the obverse doesn't fluoresce at all and the back is missing some fluorescing parts.

Does anyone here have one of these notes and a black light to let me know if your note fluoresces like the ones on the BI page? Thanks!

Hi dkallen78

I do not own this note (but it is on my wish list) but this video would help you of identifying the security feature and see if yours is legit or not.

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
I actually watched that video and I talked directly to the seller. I'm 75% positive that it's either a difference between BI's ambitions (what they put on their web page) and their abilities (what's actually printed), or Half-asleep Chris and I both got lazy batches because his looks about the same as mine on the front. The seller (100% positive feedback on eBay) also claims he got it from a personal friend in Indonesia. Hopefully someone else can chime in w/ an image. I'll be checking the r/Indonesia subreddit later as well.
Unfortunately I can't help you since I don't have the needed device for checking the fluorescing part but the 'lazy batch' theory might be true... Saying it's fake is a bit unlikely.

When I got it from the central bank on the 2nd day of its launch, the "Ministry of Finance" (Menteri Keuangan) text below the signature was slightly thinner than the next signature (governor's signature). Seems like they hurried the production a bit for the first batch
