Did they have replacement notes in the 1920's during the German Hyperinflation era?
I have the 5000 Mark 1922 note - Numista link

My note - has a star in the serial number.

The banknote.ws P-81b has a star in the serial number as well banknote.ws
edit - I am aware notes were printed in bulk. People have burnt it to heat homes.
So unlikely - but checking to see if this could be a replacement.
