How to set swap preferences regarding country. [solved]

I'd like to swap only with people in the United States, but cannot seem to find a place to indicate that in my settings or profile. Is there a way?

You have already indicated your preferences by stating it in your profile but that is about all you can do there. If you want to initiate a swap and see only members in the U.S., first go to the general swap page then scroll down to "swap partners" and use the swap filter by country option. Click on U.S. and then you will see only U.S. members.
