Notgeld from Munchen

5 posts • viewed 99 times
Hello I've recently bought this banknote and I can't find it anywhere. My guess is that it's a notgeld, but for a private business not for a city. The other side is blank. Do you have any ideas or do you have something like this? Thanks in advance.

Searched everywhere I know, but I could not find it. My catalogue is at home, so cannot check it until my return from holiday. You will probably have solved it by then.

Still a lovely banknote, which I have never seen before
I'm just a collector of coins, not a slave to it, unless I am in a coin shop.
For all you banknote collectors. Link to my swap list.

If you want or can you can check in your catalogue after you return home. But still thank you for the response and have fun on your holiday!
I will certainly check for you. Looked at the Colnect website, where there are over 25,000 German Notgeld banknotes, and is was not amongst them, so very interesting, and you are one lucky collector.

Coinman1: The colnect site was a good idea. I positively identified 3 of my 5 notgeld. The two others I cannot find. The printer is identified along the bottom. One is from Braunschwieg but the note must be from another city. The other was printed in Hamburg, Hartung & Co.
The search and fun continues.

Thanks Dave.
