mint US stamps - below face value [solved]

Hi,
when cleaning up a little I came across a bunch of unused US stamps, mainly in complete sheets and mainly from the 29c + 32c era + also some earlier ones, but no later years.
I must have kept them since then, as I had no idea I still have them.
At this point I do not longer want to keep them, so maybe someone might be interested in order to either use the stamps or keep them, as they mainly are some nice ones.

The pure postage value is about 94 USD, I am asking 72 USD incl. regular shipping to anywhere in the world.
Payment can be done through Paypal or cash by mail (or if someone within the Eurozone is interested I would prefer to make it 60 EUR and
get payment through bank transfer).

I know, this is not about coins or banknotes - but maybe we can see it as support for someone in the US to facilitate swaps :-)

If it is against some rule I am currently not aware of, just let me know.

Best wishes
in the end everything will be good - if it's not good, then it's not the end...
Not sure if your stamps found a good home or not. They bring back a lot of memories from my collecting days when i was still in the US. When I left the USA a few years ago, dealers were only giving like 10% of face for those and reselling as low as 20% of face especially if there were any faults at all. All of that scrap postage is hard to sell because there are so few things sent by regular mail. I don't know about the European market but in the USA market, you would do quite well to get $25 total. In the Chinese market where stamp collecting is still quite popular you may get more than the USA market, but if the Chinese economy slides any more, that might be a hard sell also.

The Elvis stamps are virtually impossible to sell, there were tons sold and never used. Those stamps are quite a liability to the USPS since there is tons of face value there that could be legitimately be used as postage.

If you still have them, I would consider selling on eBay. Probably your best bet to get the most from them. Selling them as a group may not be worth your time or effort. Curate them properly if in Mint condition and try selling in 10 years. By then postage stamps may be distant memories as well.
