The 1000 yen coin you choose is actually an Olympic Commemorative and doesn't circulate, more so because it is silver and over 50 years old.
Numista says it is a circulating commem but Numista is know to be inaccurate on that kind of stuff. Usually it is just the posters opinion.
I would say that the 5 Francs from Switzerland is the coin with the highest face value found in common circulation.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.

If you do then keep them because even numista says they are worth much more than there face value or even spot price

These coins were intended to circulate and you could get them for face value in Japanese banks and post offices but the vast majority was snatched up by collectors and speculators so only very few saw the light of the money cycle.
The fact that you could get a coin for face value makes them a "circulating" type and not a numismatic product in the eyes of Numista.
And yes the 5 Franken coin from Switzerland is the highest value coin circulating at the moment.
There are also multiple threads about this exact question already, please make use of the search forum feature next time.
This coin, except imagine it is in Cupronickel rather than silver.
Face value in NZ$ - 8.63
Japanese 500 yen - NZ $6.23
Israel 10 shekels
Face value NZ = $4.68
British £2 - 3.89
Those are the circulating ones (No restrictions or circulating NCLT, but standard everyday coins).
I know of.
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.
