Dear Numista community,
I’ve found this coin and am not sure whether it’s real or fake. It’s 37mm and 23.3g

I’d appreciate your opinions.
thanks in advance!
The original one has denticals while yours has a beaded border:

8% underweight is bad.
Is it silver?

I do not like the dirt and wire-brush marks.

Looks quite silverish to me… I tried chalk on it and it went black and it gets warm very easily, but I’m definitely not an expert. I also took pictures with better light.
I don't like it. looks like intentional aging and distressing techniques.
why would a coin like that get raked through hot ashes?
I could be wrong, that would be a prize if real.
If real its worth $300. so pay $30 and have it authenticated.

It is an ugly fake. You can understand by rims and borders, also weight is out
Thanks all, sad that it's not real. My next question would be whether it's a modern fake or an older one?
modern. made in china.

Ah, it's no big deal, I found it in the 10 kg of coins my BF got me on some local website so not much damage done, just got too excited for a couple of days.
Would you mind giving us an edge view of that coin, or telling us what lettering is engrailed on it?
Purely for curiosity's sake, it I certainly fake.

I gave it to my daughter to play with so it's lost somewhere in the apartment. But it said: * FERT * FERT * FERT * which is funny because this coin came in a pile with https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2290.html which is actually supposed to have such an edge and both ended up being fake.

Ah yeah, that's what I expected! Classic fake edge!
