Can someone tell me what the practical difference between these two is?
For me, the "Siculo" means Sicily. But Sicily is mentioned in the explanatory text of the Punic mint, too.
If I am not mistaken, "Uncertain Punic mint" is for a mobile military camp--one whose exact location changed with time. These did not necessarily only circulate in Sicily.
"Uncertain Siculo-Punic mint", on the other hand, is for the coins that circulated in Sicily with an uncertain attribution of issuer.
I believe the former was supposed to be for coins with the legend "mhnt" (or the varieties described in the issuer description)...
