Coin containers

How do I separate coins in my collection with containers? I based on their metals and conditions, and I will sell it if there are duplicates of it. But not all of them are in any containers, because over 75% of all my coin collection right now are in my album. Some of them are put into my handmade coin set cards.

How about you? How do you separate coins in your collection with containers? Is it based on metals, conditions, or countries?

Countries always. The condition I would keep on a spreadsheet. Metal would not matter.
But - I am the worst collector - does not trouble me to put all sorts of coins in an old bread bag,
or an old ice cream container, et cetera. A few weeks ago I went into a shop and they had a
bargain area for out-of-date items; I got biscuits, crisps, drinks, plus some Ferrero Rochet.
They were nice, and when empty there is a bonus of a sturdy clear plastic box. I made these >

All made just now, at night, so some reflection on bags.

1. All sorts, on my left as I type this. Anything that has come in recently goes into the pile.
Whenever I get time I move them into a cardboard box to make way for more coins. So there
is packages the coins came in, or an ice cream tub, and old bread bag and so on. Plus some
self-seal bags if anything I receive did not already come with its own paper envelope or bag.
2. I opened the bread bag and tipped out the contents.
3. Same with an ice cream container.
4. While looking in the bag I found a self-seal bag with Unknown written on it.
I guess at the time some could not be identified - now today I know what some are.
Something to look through one day - if I ever get the time. ``-

I prefer to sort my duplicates into envelopes and shoeboxes , it's not expensive and at least I can find an exact coin in few seconds

Duplicates and common coins go in country bags and end up in tins or shoeboxes. The best are those choclate tins and some of those Danish sugar cookie tins (We seem to get overloaded with Danish Butter cookies every year).

However all my better coins, precious metal ones and collectible series like Halfcrowns, NZ, Fiji, British bronze etc are in proper albums in Mylar pages and Flips

It's all about the future and display for me. These are all old photos, have not taken any recent ones of coins in storage for a while.
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.
