Business or Fantasy Token? [solved]

2 posts • viewed 152 times
I have submitted the following token as a Fantasy Token to which it was denied and placed in business. I appealed and was given a good explanation of why it will stay in business tokens. I still disagree and was looking for other opinions on the subject. I can not find anywhere online that will help my argument. TokenCatalog.com has it as a Fantasy Token but I can not find anything online to substantiate that claim. I believe that it is a fictional Trading post hence Fantasy token, but I am unable to provide proof to appease the powers that be. I was hoping someone here is much better at searching online to collaborate my opinion.

Thank You

Jerry

Probably correct as "business." David L Payne led an expedition westwards in the 1880's. Here's a couple clippings:

Edit: And this from the Oklahoma Historical Society:

That same year (1884) David L. Payne, leader of the Boomer Movement, established a colony of settlers at Rock Falls, near present Braman. Although Rock Falls was situated in the Cherokee Outlet, Payne published the Oklahoma War Chief newspaper from that location to inform the public about the Unassigned Lands and his efforts to open them to non-Indian settlers. The Unassigned Lands were opened in the Land Run of 1889.
