G'day collectors!
I am about to downsize my collection, and my short-term goal is to half my collection. I am mainly interested in selling the coins, since I'm not interested in adding more (which would ruin the whole point, lol!) I've been working hard to sort out coins of my collection and now my swap list is close to 3,000 coins, so you please browse around and select what you want.

If you need to withhold the payment you'll just contact me and I will reserve your order and send whenever you're able to pay. There's never a rush in dealing with me. :)

I am adding coins to my swap list almost daily, so if you can't find your favourite country, you might want to wait a hours, or days, and it might show up. You can also write and ask me to prioritise your country.

Stay safe, and happy collecting! B)

My swap list now contains more than 3,500 coins! :wiz: So far 64 countries and 69 issuers are represented.

More coins will be added during the next weeks.
New adds! :wiz:
Good evening Ngdawa,

I am afraid you do not totally fulfill the requirements for selling. Could you please consider swapping a few coins in order to comply with the policy ?
Thanks in advance,

G'day mate!

I am not interested in swapping, as that would result in getting more to my collection. To have a criteria that "Minimum of 12 (twelve) completed swaps rated 10/10 over past 12 (twelve) consecutive months" is a very odd criteria. Why would that matter at all? Why 12 months and not 6? Or 12 weeks? How did this criteria come up, and what was the reason behind it?

Thanks!
Good afternoon, Gndawa,

No idea why the criteria are such. But they are, indeed.

I remember this point has been dealt with several times before reaching this result. Certainly a way to assess the seriousness of the member (what you are, without any doubt) but this condition applies to everybody, should it be one of the most ancient and respected member.

I know it's veen uo before, but no action has been made to either remove it nor change it. With that up there, I will never be able to sell my coins to other members here. :(

I agree that the rules apply to everybody, but I think in this case you should look at the 'spirit of the law' instead of the law itself. The rule is to protect members from being 'scammed' by newcomers. I think that in this case, a member who is with the community for 11 years, who is a coin referee for 15 countries and a banknote referee for even more countries and who has made almost 20.000(!) catalog contributions, should be allowed to sell a few things :)
They say "Pecunia non olet", but I know better...
Fully agree with you Brink.

I sublit the case to the webmaster.

Hello,

This post infringes the rules #3, #4, partially #5 (3 bumps within a week), #7, and #8 of the sales policy.

I agree we could be more lenient with a respected member of our community and that we should also look at the 'spirit of the law'.
But I also believe that we should apply the same rules for everyone, and referees should set a good examples, if we don't want to be quickly overwhelmed with exceptions to the rules.

The spirit of the law is also to avoid transforming Numista into a buy & sell marketplace. With a stock of 3800 coins for sale so far, we are not talking about occasional sales at all.

Ngdawa, I recommend you rather sell on eBay or any other place dedicated to sales.
