Now that there is no reference KM for new coins, they appear haphazardly* on the lists, they should be sorted by Numista reference number.

In this following example, the coin 309957 should be listed before the 317808^th coin

Numista numbers are basically random, handed out as the coins are entered into the database with no logical progression.

Useful to have, but not a good order to sort coins.

Or, you know, make the change that would make this feature finally make sense in any way and let us choose which reference to sort by.

But my request for that got ignored for a year already.

Your right, it was my first thought, the standard sorting might be by face value, year, then Numista number.

I saw your thread and I looked for the standard sorting rule.

That's not so bad 😃

it is not a definitive classification (unlike the KM#) since other coins can appear in a "series" or the “series” might change its name🤪, but it is undoubtedly better than a simple alphabetical classification based on the name of the coin.

And so the ranking in French or English is not the same 🥴

The N# numbers don't have any logical order. When there is no other reference, I believe it's preferable to keep the current sorting, which is based on face value, date, series, and commemorated event.
