Coin value

Hello

maybe more than politeness

Hi! First, the year 1564 and the struck appearence don't match: too round and well designed for that year; it looks more from sec.18-19 to have been struck.

Then,it looks to me more like a medal than a coin. The year is probably not that of the strucking but of some anniversary.!?

What is the metal of the item & its weight?

Looks like this:

Yes,''GothicFlorin'' found the exact item! Indead it is a coin, very well struck for that year & also well preserved in time… Unless the coin's owner confirms the metal and weight of it…

Beautiful piece for that time!!!

Welcome to Numista!

You have a modern replica  of this very scarce and valuable coin of Sigismund II.

(the small letter K under the monogram indicates this, not present on GothicFlorin's images).

The last example of this (genuine) coin that sold at auction fetched $60,000.
