Hi fellow numismatics,

Confounded by another coin. My data has classified it as Maratha Empire with Nagpur mint but I am not sure or if it Bhonsles of Nagpur.

This coin also has a lot of punch mark. If there is any resource available around this, please point me to that so i can get more knowledge.

Coin Details: 1 Rupee

Weight: 11gm (exactly)

Regnal Year: 13

Thanks in advance

The coin is in the name of Muhammad Shah but the mint name is out of flan. From the style of the coin it does looks to be that of Bhonslas of Nagpur.

Looks to be similar to below ones

The punch marks on the coins are marks made by private bankers to check genuineness of the coin. There isn't any resources available on these marks
