Hello, In my opinion it would be a good idea to add a way to exclude certain metals when searching for coins.

This would be very handy for topics like German Notgeld or other similar thing. That way, you could filter out Zinc and Iron for example (metals that you can easily identify when you hold them) and therefore make a search faster and easier.

At the moment you have to look at each metal individually as it realistically isn’t possible to endlessly scroll through the thousands of Zinc and Iron coins. It would make searching without knowing the exact composition way easier.

A menu like the one for coin types would easily be enough.

Thanks in advance,

Wertinas

Maybe implement something like ‘-(minus)search term’ for the search bar.

But could you give me a search where “lettering+diameter+weight” gives you countless hits?

I don’t have an example right now, but I realized this while scrolling through the catalogue just looking at coins and thought that it might be a problem for me or other people later on. Im pretty sure that in a lot of cases it is somehow possible to find the coin, but it would just make the process faster and easier. Also, just for looking at a certain type of coin this could be quite useful
