Spanish/ Catalonian coin? [solved]

3 posts • viewed 51 times

Bought this old coin, seller told me, that it's probably from Catalonia, but I'm having a hard time trying to find it.

Diameter is ~14mm; weight is 0.84g. Any info on it would be appreciated.

“B” probably for Barcelona

Most likely. Barcelona seems to have been the main mint for Catalonian coins, though I can't seem to find this exact one among them, pretty sure it's a dinero, though.

Edit: It's apparently not Barcelona, but Banyoles. The coin seems to be this one if I'm not mistaken: N#127158
