Exonumia Shapes [solved]

Hi,

There is a missleading link in the Exonumia section.

When you click on the Shape link under this section you go directly to the coin section.

So when I click on the Shape Round with grooves I have no result when I am sure that we have token with grooves.

Not perfect but as a workaround for now, on the result page for your search there is a link (below the mention “no result” to the corresponding items of the exonumia section.

Here 944 results; if you click on it i.e. “944 items” you are redirected to the exonumia search.

It’s not perfect but acceptable for the time being.

my point is just, if I click on the shape list under the Exonumia section I expect to be redirected to Exonumia items no to Coin or Banknote.

Now if you look for a groove coin and there is no result we give a message to go to Exonumia that’s fine for me but my point is to look at Exonumia at first place when you are looking in the Exonumia section.

If you look at coin shapes and you were redirected to Exonumia would you feel it right ?

Just tried with another shape and if you have a results in the coin catalog you have no way to see it in Exonumia.

Why would you want the shapes to be different?

the word “Coin” should be deleted from the title of the result ^🧐

Names of shapes should be a static text, with separate links below the picture for coins and Exonumia. Renaming title, as suggestued.

About the title, in the translation to Spanish I changed the title to “Formas de monedas y exonumia” (es) = “Coin and exonumia shapes” (en). I also adapted the introduction.😉
English and French versions have text "coins" only, sometimes.

About the links, this section was made when Numista only had coins, so links use only coins. Now can be replaced each link by two in each shape. For example, instead of

• Round

write

• Round
  Coins / Exonumia

and remove in the image the link to coins and the pop-up text.
