Identifying a coin, help please

25mm diameter, silver but very worn on both sides, particularly the lettering.  On the side that appears to have a wheatsheaf I can see A:S:G at top left. Top right maybe REG, towards centre bottom AST.

on the side with the shield, at top left of shield is a G.

the shield is quartered. Bottom left and right quarters are vertical lines.
Top left/bottom right quarters are themselves quartered. I can make out a lion In top left quarter.

any help as always is appreciated

The shield looks to be that of Spain used on coins in the 16th century

Searching Spain and 25mm coins, some similar things come up.  It's not likely that exact coins is on Numista.

Just a guess.

Perhaps Spanish Netherlands, as the other side appears to have arrows (seven?) representing the united (?) provinces.

I weighed my coin (finally) and it came back at 8.00 grammes. The mystery deepens.
