Can someone give his opinion on this
6 groussus 1662- TT ,Poland coin.
I found a very similar to it coin :

There are differences in the reverse of the coin - no dots on left and right side of the bird, there is no horizontal line under it ,there is a dot over the head and left of the letter T,the form of the shield is different.

My guess is that this one is a fake.

As you say, the shields do not have the correct shape, and the fonts are very different form authentic examples.

Do you know the diameter and weight?

I also have some suspicions regarding the coin. I have to measure it's weight and diameter and after that l will write again.

The diameter of the coin is 25 mm.,and the weight is 3,02 gr. I was also thinking tath the coin is maybe a forgery ,but when I was looking through internet at images of a similar 1662 issue coins ,l found a website with identical coin. You could distinguish very clear the the form of the details which as far l can say are the same . I'm adding a link to the website to check it :

Nice work!

The dimensions are OK (the specified weight was 3.4 g, and most examples seen in auctions are 3 - 3.4 g.).  And you have found a match with a well-known auction house.

And again it is a less common subtype.

Tank you for ,your help again ! I tink tath discussions in Numista forum are always interesting .
