Ancient coins - Greek & Roman?

4 posts • viewed 88 times

Hi,

Please may I have help identifying these.

I'm not a collector so don't know anything, I did try and search but alas.

One seems to be Greek, about 2mm thick diameter about 19-20mm.

my wild guesses at lettering on reverse:

ΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ at the top line,

next could be ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ but with E at the end?

IEPA?

ΞOP?

TPHΩN?

Not sure if I have it the right way round but looks like a boat to me?

The perhaps Roman (saw a video with a Constantine video and the bust seems the same), I can't read any of the text. It's approx. 1mm thick and about 20-21 diameter.

Thank you

Yes I think this is right. The wording that is visible matches and the portrait looks the same.

Yes, this is my cat
