Need advice from a computer expert on a non numismatic subject [solved]

5 posts • viewed 101 times

My niece sent me a link which contained around 100 photographs, and when I opened the link the photographs appeared perfectly.

Unfortunately, my granddaughter was with me and decided to press, what I believe was the Ctrl button quite a few times and all of the photographs shrank to the size of a small UK stamp, so instead of having 6 in each row, there is now around 20 in each row.

When I click on each photograph the size is also greatly reduced in compared to the original size.

I am therefore requesting information as to how I return the photographs to there original setting.

I did ask for the link to be emailed to me again, which happened, but the link still opened with tiny photographs.

I therefore think it might be a settings problem, but am it reality, totally lost.

Can someone please help a computer idiot. If you are able to help, please write it step by step in easy wording

 In the folder, right click.

Click on ‘View’

Select 'Large icons'

Like I just did …

Alternatively, using the + or - keys,

hold down that Ctrl key, and enlarge the pictures by

pressing the + key once. If that makes them a little bigger, repeat until

the required size is shown. If then too big, go the other way by

instead pressing the - key at same time as pressing Ctrl key.

25 33 50 67 75 80 90 100% are the settings, and higher.

The current percentage is shown top right.

ZacUK,

The second reply worked perfectly. Now I have to work out why I only have half of the photographs from the link. I had them all last night, but now half of them have not appeared when the link is opened.

Thanks

Closed email, then re-opened, and all photographs appeared. Strange, but solved

Thanks
