Nice beauties there, I wonder what’s inside once you remove the paper from them.

They are RAM coin rolls guaranteed to contain 25 uncirculated examples of the coin you see on top. Most collectors of them do not open them as they are worth a lot more in a roll than they are out of a roll.
The RAM Do not sell them directly, they can only be bought from authorised RAM coin dealers. They initially sell for $99.95 which is 2x face value, but very quickly jump up in price. A 2013 Purple Coronation $2 RAM roll can fetch upwards of $5,000 or more.

Incredible what mints do and even more strange, that people buy those things. Anyway, we're all different, so enjoy whatever you collect.

My thoughts, exactly.
Reminded me of my kids' Pokemon jetons.
Coloured $2 coins in Australia are a big thing. Because you can get them in circulation they are very attractive to young collectors, (and adults too). A great way to get young people interested in coin collecting. The RAM are making a lot of money churning them out.

I do believe that, so much the better….. I suppose the kids still prefer to convert them into useable things like sweets🤣

I wish our RCM would do the same - our latest commemorative rolls for loonies and toonies ($1 and $2 coins for those not familiar with our nicknames) have mixed coins, and even then, not equally between coloured and non.. My collector half says it's good that someone can get both examples in one roll, but the trader half of me says the mintages aren't the same for each coin - so I'm running out of one coin more than the other and now I can't find more rolls altogether, and I even work at a casino part time where they go through BOXES of rolls all the time ☺️

Some would do that yes … but we don't call them sweets in Australia .. They are called Lollies. The row in the supermarket that has chocolate and goodies like that is called “The Lolly Row” … 😁😋
