The article N#14568

is intended to describe the first Olympic champion in modern world.

Instead of that the ΝΙΚΗΣ in the lettering was proposed to be given in English just as participant.

Sorry, the Hellenic Authorities did not mean it and their propaganda does not allowed at all to write so! The word ΝΙΚΗΣ  has nothing to do with participation.

The modification request https://en.numista.com/catalogue/contributions/voir_demande.php?id=6592567 clearly indicates to the referee, who has to correct this inaccuracy, that it is important and should be  corrected.

What is the result?

We have rejection! A Numista team member just rejected it! So it means that Numista knows better than  the country Authorities what should be written on their coins!  The rejection was made by His Majesty. He already informed us that He does not care which language is used in which country (see https://en.numista.com/forum/topic51669.html post about Somalian coin Posted: 20-Jul-2016, 23:40), here He shows that He does not care about Greek language.

Well, it is not the end of the world. Just Hellenic Republic may issue a Note about such humiliation. Or we may ask specialist to check and correct this absurd, guarded by His Majesty via Appeal.

and what do we have?

What? The same person considered the appeal? Are you kidding? Where on the Earth the appeal comes to the same one, and in our case who is not specialist at all?

The first rejection is just a bulling. Numista team knows that very well (see for example https://en.numista.com/forum/topic51669.html Posted: 21-Dec-2021, 08:51 am).

But it was clearly written that a specialist is required, who at least not of kindergarten age  and can use a robotic translator.

But the second one is just a bug of the site developers: it is completely inappropriate to allow the same person to consider any appeal.

In which way Numista catalog will stop humiliating Greeks and the correct translation will be given?

Thus

Lettering:
2000
Γ.Στ. ΙΓρ.
Ο ΟΛΥΜΠΙΟΝΙΚΗΣ ΣΠΥΡΟΣ ΛΟΥΗΣ

should be at least translated as

Translation:
G.St. IGr.

THE OLYMPIC CHAMPION SPYROS LOUIS

Alexander from Cyprus

Did you even read the reason for rejection? Your proposed changed violated the Numista guidelines by being in all capital letters. If you had followed the guidelines your change would have been approved.

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/contributions/instructions.php#translation

“regular punctuation and sentence case should be used”

I don't think he can read, as he cannot write correct English

“and their propaganda does not allowed at all to write so!”

Not to mention that Olympian is a noun there, meaning someone who competed in Olympic games. So translation is ok.
