Hello

can mint masters be added to the database without a specific mark?

Mint masters were often in charge of designing or engraving coins, or supervising the process, but they did not necessarily sign the dies.

For example, these would be the ones for Luzern:

Stoffel Ruß; Mint master; 1529, 1536-1537
Niklaus Koch; Mint master; 1540-1541

Hello,

Mintmasters without a mark are currently not supported. I transform your request into an idea to improve the website.

By the way, I suspect a mistake in the first mintmaster: was he really named “Joaquin Jimenez”?

Xavier

Indeed, sorry about that. There were a couple of mistakes. They should be fixed now.

I tried something here: N#45626 (request to be validated to see how it renders)

The try being: blank svg with description being “no matk/ sin marca/ sans marque”
