Residents of UAE, how common are 1-dirham commemorative UAE coins? Can you find them in your wallet?

I have a layover in UAE and would like to find as many circulating commemorative coins (perhaps in the local shops, etc). Are these coins commonly found in the wallet change? Do you have any advice on how I could get my hands on as many of these awesome coins as possible?

I am from the US and spent much time in Dubai - the commemorative coins are not that easy to get, but…..

There are many coin exchange shops there on the streets in the old section - you can ask but you will have to go into many.

Also check with the active stores, hotel bellmen, and of course the various banks.
