8 Reales, 1802

Hello!

I am very new to collecting anything old and had a few questions I have hoping to have answered about a coin my lcs has. Its a coin I really like, a 1802 Carolous 4 8 reales piece attached. I checked the rim, it weighs about right and flips correctly. Is there anything else I can do to confirm? If I can get a good price for it (he still hasn't gone through it fully) I'll get it. He also has an 1892.

Thanks!

The Earth is a Triangle

Looks to be genuine. Uneven wear, harshly cleaned, It does not grade well because of the wear on the obverse and the cleaning.. Keep that in mind as far as valuation. Check and compare the edge with the photo in the link to help verify authenticity.
