Wide or narrow??!

KW

Appears wide to me. You can view examples at http://www.banknote.ws/COLLECTION/countries/ASI/VIE/VIE0106.htm and form your own opinion.

Looks “narrow” to me (P-106a).

It is the space between the “YH” prefix of your note & the left digits of the serial number (6903116) & it is narrow (or small). P-106b (wide) you can almost put your baby finger between the prefix & the serial #.

According to link I supplied, it is determined by space BETWEEN numerals, not the space between prefix and first numerals. Really need 2 notes to compare. In the illustrations in the linked page, look where the last serial number numeral is in relation to the cartouche (fancy design) around the 1000 denomination. I think that is easiest way to see wide and narrow. I still say your note is wide. By the way P#106a is used for the narrow and wide, P#106b is used for numerals taller than the prefix.

Yes, Will is correct (I was confusing b with a). Ignore my post.
