#1 for the more classic look. I can hardly stand that portrait of QEII.

Quote: Dr. Math I can hardly stand that portrait of QEII.You're right, mine is from 1980. This one has that effigy, that the Chinese are knocking off by the millions, adding a smile to it and taking away a couple of wrinkles.

1.
I'm not the only one who dislikes the current QEII portrait.
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.

I have a 70's one and it's much more appealing, maybe it's time QEII stepped down as her portraits aren't the best any more - get some Charlie on the go ha !

It says "Pacific Islands" all over it.

I'm equally indifferent to both but I'll vote #2 mainly because I have it.

#1 ships get me every time
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!
Looking for pre 1783 coins

I have both and 2 is mine. I vote for two. I must say that the portrait of QEII isn't that great, but Long may she reign.

No. 1, the other one seems a bit too "modern coin just for collectors" (even it is no one).
Used time zone is UTC+2:00. Current time is 22:19.
