Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!
Looking for pre 1783 coins

Ooh... so this is what it has come down to...
#1 for me-- much less common (100 000), and more intricate designs in my opinion. Also commemorates an event.
They are both beautiful coins though, and I love both sides of #1 equally. I only really like the back of #2, don't like the reverse.

1, I'm not paricularly fond of either side.
2, I don't like her hat...but that side will have to do.

Holy euphemism bam-man! Are you choosing coin 1 or 2 for the rounds?

This is the first final, so I will explain what happens:
You vote for your favorite coin, as usual. However, you also provide your favorite side of both coins (obverse or reverse).

Yes, I realise I was ambiguous here. Number 1 wins for me.
Euphemism or no euphemism, I still don't like her hat.

Quote: bam777 Yes, I realise I was ambiguous here. Number 1 wins for me.A to E are not finals, you're supposed to just pick a coin, not list obverse/reverse likes and dislikes. Your picks are ambiguous in all. Might want to clarify before they close. If
dptashny understands the picks, then I guess you're ok.

2.
Both coins are equally nice so it comes down to patina again.
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.
