We currently have one Cape of Good Hope note listed under South Africa but others can be found listed here. Can I suggest creating a new issuer Cape of Good Hope within “South Africa (pre-Union)” with Dutch rulers before 1795 and 1803-1806, and British rulers 1795-1803 and 1806-1910 (see here). The currencies would be Rijksdaalder until 1808, Rixdollar 1808-1834 and Pound from 1834.

That is a very good idea.

‘Cape of Good Hope’ / ‘Cape Colony’ would be the better title for that section, as the Colony was known by both names at the time.

I  could be wrong but I think “Cape Colony” was just a shorthand for “Colony of the Cape of Good Hope”.

Both names were official.

My Green Point Track Camp notes would also warrant listing under that section - considering Brian Hern's catalogue lists them.

Where does the Wikipedia article say both names were official? The South Africa Act of 1909 uses the longer name for the colony.

The South Africa Act, 1909 is what created the Union of South Africa as from 31 May 1910.

Official documents from prior to the creation of the Union used both names interchangeably.

Issuer is there, as it was created for some coin patterns. So now only thing needed are the rulers and currencies.

Sorry, I missed the issuer when I looked before. I've requested the move.

Sorry, it might be easy for you - what should be starting and ending dates of those currencies? And which rulers exactly we should add? All from that era?

1910 would be the end date for the Cape Colony's notes.

So King George III, Queen Victoria, & King Edward VII would have to be included on the list of rulers.

Added those three :)

No, you're right, it isn't trivial. For the currencies, the rijksdaalder would start in 1652, when the Dutch colony was founded. The pound would end with the colony in 1910.

For the rulers, we need:

Willem V (1751-1795),

George III (1795-1803),

Batavian Republic (1803-1806),

George III (1806-1820),

then the British monarchs until 1910. Technically, we need George V, although he was only king for 25 days before the Union of South Africa came into being. We might need earlier stadtholders but it gets complicated as not all of the Dutch provinces had the same stadtholder before 1747 (indeed, some had none).
