Isn't tackling the opponent a foul?
No it isn't - There are legitimate fair tackles in Football (or if you must call it Soccer).
Hope to get these in the next week or so.
It is a shame Australia's 2023 coins don't depict King Charles III's portrait yet.
Aidan.
More bubblegum coins from Australia, although they have eased back this year from last.
No shame about Charley boy either. I think in anticipation of the Federal Republic of Australia and the Peoples Democratic Republic of Aotearoa, we should start showing the coat of arms on our coins.

If it’s done properly it’s ok but feet up or a trailing leg is a free kick.

You can call them bubblegum coins but they generate a lot of interest in the Australian coin collecting community. What does NZ do for coin collectors? …………… I think I can hear crickets.
Looks like you like bubble gum coins too .. You have got lots in your collection.
Don't expect Australia to become a Republic anytime soon. The way Albanese's Voice Referendum is looking to collapse in a screaming heap this will be a massive blow for him and the Labor Party. He knows it too and when it is defeated, and rightly so, he won't dare bring up the subject of a Republic for fear of that being defeated too.
Oh and we already have the Coat of Arms on a coin. The back of the 50 cent has had it since 1966.

Absolutely true, although my Australian coin connection has been asked not to send me the soccer coins as I have drawn the line in the sand with the bubblegum.
I really like all the War themed, Indigenous, Social, Historical and Political $2 coins, less crazy about the Olympics, Commonwealth and various TV shows like Hush. Squiggles, Mr Wiggle or whatever etc and absolutely detest all forms of Rugby and Soccer as they mean nothing to me - its kicking a glorified pigs bladder around a muddy field. How it can cause such excitement, brouhaha, hype, thuggery and stupidity is beyond me.

Bet you are fun at parties.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Does anyone know how many of each of the $1 and $2 matildas coins were minted?
