ECB - new themes for euro banknotes to vote

Hello collectors,

ECB (European Central Bank) surveys Europeans on new themes for euro banknotes.

https://www.ecb.europa.eu/press/pr/date/2023/html/ecb.pr230710~77cf718c59.en.html

Quote from website: "From 10 July until 31 August 2023 everybody in the euro area can respond to a survey on the ECB’s website."

All languages what are spoken in the EU countries are available. Choose your language what is better matching to you.

Good luck

At the moment I am ONLY looking for 2€ Croatia - Pula coin. Thank you for your understanding.

I am still looking for swappartners in:
Bulgaria, Croatia, Eire, Malta, Netherlands

I’ve compleyrd the survey to me personally I would like the new Euro banknotes to feature birds.

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.

I have also completed the survey. My first preference is definitely ‘’birds.'' Second place is ‘’rivers.'' I don't like the other themes.

I just hope it came across that I want attractive banknotes and ideological stuff should at best play second fiddle.

I just completed the survey - a standard 7-point questionnaire.

Hopefully, they will settle on a theme which will be truly European and cannot be said to be of one country more than another. And a fresh design would be nice, not some tired old theme which has been used many times previously on currency notes, and no portraits - there would not be enough denominations to go round!

Drinking fountains seems to be a universal theme with common interest.

I feel like “hands” themed will be similar to the Swiss ones 🤔 The current series, where they also reflect Swiss history and culture with hands on the obverse

I have a soft spot for origami paper cranes.
Read or watch about "Sadako Sasaki and the Thousand Paper Cranes".
Spread a little peace and happiness wherever you go :)

Yikes, I wasn't fond of the theme before, but now it also really feels like it'd just be a cheap (if only marginally so at the moment) knock-off =/
