Hi

No bug or suggestion this time, only a EXTRA BIG commendation to master team on this one (I have obviously missed this awesome update):

N#335749

I really like the way original script is displayed below!!! (BTW, I made an update request on some small lettering mistakes)

Thank you all

Thanks! Xavier made this possible, and it is not limited to only blackletter - see here: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic133668.html and here: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic133669.html

Also some new arabic scripts were added to make the selection more comprehensive.

I noticed that a while ago and wanted to thank you all as well. Really looks cool, thank you Jarek and Xavier

More than 80% of all coins have script assigned, so searching by script achieved some working treshold (given the fact that there are a lot of coins without any script). ((We should add searching option for that! :) ))

I will check percentages for banknotes and exonumia.

How do you search for missing script, as search field for script does not allow adding search parameter “missing”.

Thanks

Last in the list of scripts is “Undetermined”. However, this search will show for example uniface coins with assigned script for obverse, but without any script for reverse. However, this helps spot cases where one side has script and other has not.

I have one more specific search, more database demanding, that looks up only coins without any script at all. That is on what I base those numbers.

43% of banknotes have script assigned and 62% of exonumia have script assigned. Still work to do. :)
