Hello everyone!
Some time ago, I made a post about a note I have and where it should go in the catalogue.
(Here is the link if you want to read it https://en.numista.com/forum/topic134526.html#p1081576)
Lately, I have been reading some Serbian numismatic magazines, and I found a series of articles about what interested me the most - Austro-Hungarian (and Bulgarian) notes that were stamped after WWI! (I can post said articles in the comments if anyone requests that).
In the articles, it is stated that there’d been several ‘waves’ of leftover note stamping. Now, on Numista, there are only a few such notes, stamped predominantly by the Ministry of Finance of Yugoslavia (such as N#217489 ). But the Ministry wasn’t the only entity that stamped these notes - they were also stamped by police stations, municipal and regional governments, cities… you name it.
There is no exhaustive list of all the stamps used, because the of sheer number that exists.
This post was posted as a platform for discussion, but also as a way for me to suggest something - adding a new category under Yugoslavia for such stamped notes, or to move them into the Yugoslav notgeld section.
